We recommend preparing a small, soft-sided safari bag and keeping your passport and other important travel documents easily accessible.
At the airport, check in for your safari flight and board a small aircraft connecting Zanzibar with the Serengeti.
Fly from Zanzibar to the Serengeti

Wake up to your final morning in the Serengeti.
After breakfast, check out and begin another game drive.
The morning gives you another opportunity to explore the park and search for wildlife you may not have encountered on your first day.
Your guide will plan the day's route around your flight departure time, ensuring that you make your way toward the airstrip while continuing to enjoy the safari.
Final Game Drive
One of the advantages of staying overnight is that your second day isn't simply a transfer back to the airport.
The journey through the Serengeti toward the airstrip remains part of your safari.
You may revisit an area where interesting wildlife was seen the previous day or explore a different part of Central Serengeti, depending on time and conditions.
Return to Seronera Airstrip
At the appropriate time, arrive at Seronera Airstrip for your return flight.
Say goodbye to your safari guide and check in for your flight back toward Zanzibar.
The exact departure time and routing depend on the confirmed airline schedule for your travel date.
Fly Back to Zanzibar
Board your safari aircraft and leave the Serengeti behind as you return to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, collect your luggage.
If your package includes a return transfer, your driver will meet you and take you back to your hotel.
You can then continue your Zanzibar holiday—with a very different set of memories from the previous two days.
