🗓️Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
"The Land of Giants"
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your professional safari guide will meet you for a short safari briefing. Then you'll begin your journey, driving about 2–3 hours to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and peaceful parks.
As you enter the park, you’ll immediately start seeing wildlife; elephants in big families, zebras grazing, and giraffes slowly walking under giant baobab trees. Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephants and for being a great place to spot lions, leopards, and many bird species.
The Tarangire River runs through the park and becomes a vital water source in the dry season, attracting animals from far and wide. You’ll enjoy a game drive until late afternoon, with a picnic lunch under the shade of an acacia tree.
What you will experience:
-
Wildlife watching the moment you enter the park
-
Close-up views of elephants and baobabs

🗓️Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Central Serengeti
"From the Cradle of Life to the Endless Plains"
After an early breakfast, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife. As you descend 600 meters into the crater, you’ll be surrounded by green grasslands, lakes, and forests — all packed inside a huge volcanic caldera.
This is one of the only places in East Africa where you might spot all Big Five animals — lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and black rhino — in a single game drive. You'll stop for a picnic lunch near a hippo pool and enjoy more game viewing before leaving the crater.
In the afternoon, continue your drive to Central Serengeti, a region famous for its big cats, open savannahs, and resident wildlife that stays all year round. As you enter the park, you'll already start seeing giraffes, antelopes, and possibly lions resting on the rocks (kopjes).
What you will experience:
-
Stunning crater views and abundant wildlife
-
Rare chance to see rhinos in the wild

Overnight: Serengeti Safari haven

🗓️Day 3: Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti
"Chasing the Herds to the North"
Wake up early to enjoy a sunrise game drive in Central Serengeti. This is the best time to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and even leopards, which are more active in the cooler morning hours. Your guide will take you to secret spots where animals gather.
After breakfast at the camp, start your journey to the Northern Serengeti; the area where the Great Migration crosses the Mara River between July and October. Along the way, you’ll enjoy game drives as you follow the movement of the herds.
As you get closer to the Mara River, you may start seeing thousands of wildebeest and zebras walking together, making their way toward the water. You’ll arrive in Northern Serengeti in the afternoon, where the scenery changes to more rolling hills and riverbanks.
What you will experience:
-
Early morning action with lions and cheetahs
-
Incredible views of migrating herds on the move
-
Arrival at the Mara River, where dramatic crossings occur
Overnight: Heritage Mara Camp

🗓️Day 4: Full-Day in Northern Serengeti
"Witness the River Crossings"
Today is the highlight of your safari. You will spend a full day in the Northern Serengeti, following the migration and waiting at famous river crossing points. This is where thousands of wildebeest risk their lives to cross the Mara River, facing crocodiles, strong currents, and waiting predators.
Your guide knows the patterns of the migration and will take you to the best spots for a chance to witness a real crossing, one of the most powerful scenes in the animal world.
Even if you don’t see a crossing, the area is rich with life. Lions patrol the riverbanks, elephants bathe in the water, and leopards may be hiding in the trees. You’ll carry a picnic lunch and stay out all day for the best game viewing opportunities.
What you will experience:
-
A chance to witness the famous river crossing
-
Amazing photography of wildlife in motion
-
An emotional and unforgettable day in nature
Overnight: Same camp in Northern Serengeti
